Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. This morning, Lord, you hear my voice; this morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart this day be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Lead me by your truth and teach me for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.

Let this morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.

Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength this morning, our salvation in times of distress.

I declare I am as a tree planted by the waters, and I spread out my roots by the river. When the heat comes, my leaf shall be green. I won’t be bothered in the year of drought, neither shall I cease from yielding fruit.
